After a very wet morning, the afternoon was much nicer. This was the first time we had run a 25 mile TT at Hillingdon – 40 laps of the short circuit. There were a few problems/incidents: Jerry unfortunately had a tumble (but claimed he was unhurt afterwards) and a couple of riders mis-calculated the number of laps, meaning their slow-down lap was actually lap 40.
