TT Opener At Great Missenden

The famous five

For the first time in a couple of years mask wearing was not the main talking point at the season opener. To the riders’ relief the course at Great Missenden had reverted to its dual carriageway self – making it a bit wider and safer, and we all had front lights for the first time. Andy H had his first ride on a real road since October, and we welcomed Santosh into the fold – a couple of months before his extreme Ironman in Nepal. Suffice to say the 150m odd of climbing on H25/4 isn’t going to help him prepare much for his May adventure. The sunshine made up for the gusty wind, and we all enjoyed the professional organisation by Hillingdon triathletes. Great race pack guys…
