I love it, I used to be a fell/cross country runner and I find it’s very similar atmosphere only with a bike.

I will list the races below:
03/10/21 – Reading CC Bill Higson – Miche Wessex League – Placed 19th
13/10/21 – Armed Forces Interservice CX – HMS Raleigh – placed 2nd

Andover 24/10/21 – Andover Wheelers – Miche Wessex League – placed 14th

31/10/21 – VC Venta – Miche Wessex League – Placed 9th – Absolute mud bath – a 45 minute race rode/run 4mile. On my birthday too, couldn’t think of anything else id rather do.
14/11/21 – Pedalon – Miche Wessex League – Placed 16th
21/11/21 – Challenge Tires London South East CX League – Placed 5th
28/11/21 – Hillingdon – Central regional Champs – Placed 4th

This Sunday is Clanfield, I’m expecting another mud bath, especially as the course is being used on the Saturday for a UCI event.
If anyone wants to have a go I’d 100% recommend it, tell them to give me a shout (click to email) , you can use Mountain bikes if that’s all you have. There is a fixture on the 28th Dec at Hillingdon that a non-league race, also so on Home turf.

There is also a fun Event that can be done as a relay on NYD over at Herne Hill Velodrome.
