Westerley has a long history as a time trialling club, and is a long-standing member of the London West District of the Cycling Time Trials organisation.

We organise a series of time trials during the course of the year, both club events for Westerley members, and open events that can be ridden by a member of any club affiliated with the CTT. Non-members are also welcome to ride our club events.  They offer a good introduction to the sport for a beginner in a much less intimidating environment than a large event.  Most are run as ‘Come and Try It’ events which means that, even if you are not a member of a CTT-affiliated club, you can come along and join in two events to see how you find it. We use local TT courses.

Upcoming events can be found here.

In addition, we organise an enormously popular series of Wednesday evening time trials at the closed road Hillingdon circuit during summer months. You don’t need to have all the equipment to take part in one of these.  It’s perfectly fine to race with normal drop bars and, especially at Hillingdon Circuit, we’ve had all sorts of bikes including Moultons, Bromptons, mountain bikes, plus the odd recumbent and velomobile.

Find out more about our Hillingdon events here.
