The Westerley Spring Crits 2018 will be held at the Hillingdon Cycle Circuit on Saturday, April 14th.
Three races take place during the day. First up is the men’s crit which starts at 2pm and is open to riders holding a category 3 or 4 licence. The race will last for one hour plus five laps.
At 3:30pm the women’s crit gets underway. The race is only open to female riders holding a category 4 licence and is run on the same basis as the men’s crit, meaning that the riders have use of the whole circuit, and that prize money will be equal to the men. The race is also scheduled for one hour plus five laps.
The concluding race of the day is the Handcycles Go-Race which is part of the National Paracycling Circuit Race Series. Scheduled to start at 5pm and lasting for one hour, paracyclists from around the UK will have the exclusive use of the Hillingdon circuit. Please note that entry on the day is not available for the Handcycles Go-Race.
Online entry is £15 via the British Cycling website here or £18 for entry on the day for the women’s or men’s races only. All races are limited to 80 riders, and there will be no places held for on the day entries. If a race has not sold out, any remaining places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sign-on will close 15 minutes before the start of each race, and a short presentation with prize money afterwards.
